PM Andrej Plenkovic received a delegation of the Croatian Bishops' Conference

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic on Tuesday received for talks a delegation of the Croatian Bishops' Conference (HBK).

The two sides discussed the current situation in the country and the state of cooperation between the government and the Roman Catholic Church.

PM Plenkovic expressed the government's commitment to implementing international agreements with the Holy See, and the HBK delegation assessed as positive the government's efforts to create conditions for economic and social progress, optimism and an atmosphere of inclusiveness in the Croatian society, expressing the Church's readiness to continue giving its contribution in that regard.

The HBK delegation expressed satisfaction with the meeting and underlined the importance of continuous dialogue with the government.
