Croatian PM receives Estonian president
ZAGREB, March 17 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader on Tuesday held talks with Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves on Croatia's accession negotiations with the European Union, notably on Slovenia's blockade.
PM Sanader stressed once again that Croatia was pushing for separating the accession negotiations from the settlement of the border dispute with Slovenia and for settling the dispute in accordance with international law before the International Court of Justice in The Hague.Ilves welcomed Croatia's upcoming accession to NATO and fully supported the completion of the EU accession negotiations based on the adoption of the European acquis communautaire.
The two officials said Croatian-Estonian relations were excellent, but that there was room for developing them further, notably in the economy.
