First deputy Prime Minister receives Hanns Seidel Foundation delegation

Croatia's First Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Karamarko met in Zagreb on Thursday with a delegation of the German Hanns Seidel Foundation, headed by its chief executive Peter Witterauf.

They discussed the political situation in Croatia and the government's priorities, notably improving the investment climate in the country. It was concluded that there was mutual interest in further advancing relations between Croatia and Germany, and the representatives of the German foundation said that they wanted to continue activities aimed at further development of democratic processes in Croatia.

The Hanns Seidel Foundation is a Munich-based political foundation that promotes international dialogue and understanding, European unity, and democratic and civic education based on Christian foundations. It is close to the German CSU party and is active in Croatia.
