PM Plenković arrives in Ukraine for official visit
Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic arrived in Kiev on Sunday for an official visit during which he is expected to hold talks with top Ukrainian officials about bilateral relations and possibilities for promoting economic cooperation.

On his trip to Ukraine, Plenkovic is accompanied by a large delegation of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK), led by HGK president Luka Burilovic. All of them are expected to to take part in the Ukraine-Croatia Economic Forum on Monday.
"I believe it is a good thing that together with more than a hundred of Croatian business people we do our best to bring (Croatian and Ukrainian) partners closer together and lift our trade which currently amounts to US$ 50 million to a higher level," PM said.
He also added that Croatia's experiences in peaceful reintegration of occupied areas "could be very useful to Donjeck, Luhansk and Crimea, which is why the government has formed a special task force which includes representatives of the incumbent government as several people from that time."
On Monday, PM Plenkovic is expected to meet his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Groysman and President Petro Poroshenko who recently expressed his country's interest to join the Adriatic-Baltic-Black Sea Initiative. He will also meet Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy and Deputy Chairman Iryna Herashchenko.
Prime Minister Plenklovic is an old friend of Ukraine which he often visited as president of the European Parliament's Delegation for that country. His last visit to Ukraine in that capacity took place two months ago.
