The Croatian government on Thursday said that at the request of Deputy Prime Minister Martina Dalic, relevant state bodies have examined all of her official Internet providers and accounts, personal communication devices with private email correspondence and available communication at foreign email service providers, and that they did not find threatening messages to Ivica Todoric or any other Agrokor Management Board member.

On September 30, Dalic asked Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic to have relevant services take all her electronic devices, including those privately-owned, and examine her email correspondence.

Her request was prompted by media reports about threats Dalic allegedly made against former members of the Agrokor Management Board.

Following Plenkovic's request, relevant state bodies in charge of the protection of the IT system security have examined all official providers and accounts Dalic is using, as well as her personal communication devices with private email correspondence and available correspondence done through foreign email service providers.

The relevant state bodies said no messages indicating threats against Ivica Todoric or any other Agrokor Management Board member had been found.

"All of this clearly shows that Deputy Prime Minister Martina Dalic herself requested that her email accounts be examined and it was established that there were no threatening messages against Ivica Todoric or any other member of the Agrokor Management Board," the government said in a press release.

The government also condemned the spreading of untrue information by Todoric in his attacks on Dalic and the entire government.

Todoric wrote in a blog post on September 28 that a few months ago Dalic had threatened with his arrest and the arrest of members of his family and management board members.

At the government session on Thursday, PM Plenkovic reiterated that no emails were found that would confirm that Dalic had ever threatened Todoric.

Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic said on the occasion of World Teachers' Day on Thursday that teachers and professors were of vital importance for the future of the Croatian nation and children.

Extending best wishes to teachers on World Teachers' Day, observed on 5 October, PM Plenkovic reassured them that his cabinet would do all that was necessary for the improvement of their status as their work was irreplaceable for the future of Croatia.

The cabinet today also wrote off the science and education ministry's debt in the amount of 53.5 million kuna.
