Economic indicators in the first quarter of 2016 are on the rise, including Croatia's industrial production as well as indicators about investments and employment, and this government's mission is to accelerate the economic growth to 2.5% and even more, said Prime Minister Oreskovic.

"All indicators in the Q1 are positive, industrial production, investments, employment are rising. We believe that we will maintain this trend until the end of this year and accelerate it," the premier said at the 11th annual convention of Croatian exporters.

The government is set to speed up the growth above 2.5%, to reach 3% and more and to make this growth sustainable. In order to achieve this goal, exporters have a crucial role, they have shown that they can compete on the global market, Oreskovic said at the event.
