ZAGREB, June 10 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Djurdja Adlesic, who is on a visit to Israel, met Israeli Interior Minister Meir Sheetrit on Tuesday, the Croatian government's public relations office said in a statement, adding that public administration and local and regional government also fell under the jurisdiction of Sheetrit's ministry.
Adlesic informed the Israeli minister of ongoing public administration reforms in Croatia. The two officials agreed to cooperate in the field of training expert teams. Sheetrit informed Adlesic of the ongoing reforms in Israel in the area of local and regional government units. He also offered his country's technical and expert assistance in that sector.
Adlessic invited the Israeli minister to visit Croatia, which Sheetrit accepted, the statement said.
Later today, Adlesic is scheduled to visit the Yad Vashem Museum and hold talks with Israeli Vice Prime Minister Haim Ramon.
