ZAGREB, June 18 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Djurdja Adlesic met in Kabul on Wednesday with Afghan President Hamid Karzai, who thanked Croatia for its assistance in peace efforts in his country.
According to a Croatian government statement, Adlesic and Karzai discussed economic cooperation, and the Afghan president announced that Croatian business people would have "special privileged status".
After the meeting with Karzai, on the first day of her two-day visit, Adlesic visited the 11th Croatian military contingent serving within the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) mission, and opened a day care centre in Kabul for the children of Croatian nationals working there.
