ZAGREB, June 23 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader on Monday met with Jan Figel, European Commissioner for Education, Training, Culture and Youth, the Croatian government's public relations office said in a statement.
The meeting focused on the current state of Croatia's EU entry talks and on the country's priorities in the coming period.
The two officials also discussed the situation regarding the ratification of the Treaty of Lisbon and agreed that it should not have an impact on the course of Croatia's negotiations and admission to the EU.
Figel said that Croatia was a success story which served as an encouragement to all countries in this region, and expressed support for the further course of the country's integration with the EU.
