ZAGREB, Oct 20 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader in Zagreb on Monday held talks with members of the team for negotiations on Croatia's admission into the European Union. Participants in the meeting expressed optimism concerning the completion of the entry talks within the set deadline, namely during 2009.
Present at the meeting were Croatian Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Gordan Jandrokovic and state secretaries in the foreign ministry Boanca Matkovic and Davor Bozinovic,
Sanader informed those present of the activities and talks with European partners aimed at maintaining the good pace of the admission process and successful completion of negotiations within the set deadline.
Chief negotiator Vladimir Drobnjak and members of the negotiating team informed the PM of the current status of the EU entry talks and individual chapters, as well as of the overall activities of the negotiating team.
