ZAGREB, March 5 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor on Friday met the World Bank Regional Director for Central Europe and the Baltic States, Peter Harrold.
Kosor thanked the World Bank for its support to Croatia in a number of projects and expressed confidence that the cooperation would continue.
She informed the World Bank official of the government's current activities, notably its efforts to alleviate the impact of the economic crisis, strengthen the economy and stabilise state finances.
Apart from the measures in the economic sector, Croatia's most important foreign policy goal is the completion of its EU entry talks, Kosor said, adding that this required many changes at all levels in society.
Congratulating Kosor on the decisive moves she had made since taking office, Harrold said he shared her opinion that completing the EU accession talks was a very important goal and added that the World Bank was willing to help Croatia in its reform process.
