ZAGREB, Nov 1 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor on Monday sent a letter to her Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan offering her condolences on the wounding of Turkish citizens and police in an attack of a suicide bomber on a police patrol in downtown Istanbul on Sunday.
Thirty-two people - 15 police officers and 17 civilians - were injured in the city's central Taksim Square when a suicide bomber attacked a police patrol. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. In the past, Istanbul was targeted by Kurdish separatists, al-Qaida and other groups.
There were no Croatian nationals among the injured, the Croatian Foreign Ministry said.
