A preliminary session of the inter-governmental commission for economic cooperation between Croatia and Turkmenistan, attended by the two countries' deputy prime ministers in charge of the economy, Branko Grcic and Satlyk Satlykov, was held in Zagreb on Monday when possibilities of advancing the two countries' cooperation were discussed and a more concrete cooperation announced, the Croatian government said in a statement.
Grcic and Satlykov talked about cooperation in the fields of foreign policy, entrepreneurship, economy, maritime and transport infrastructure, agriculture, culture, education, tourism and finances.
A 12-member Turkmen delegation, which is on a three-day visit to Croatia, is also expected to hold talks with President Ivo Josipovic and Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Sinisa Hajdas Doncic.
The Turkmen delegation is also set to visit several Croatian companies - Uljanik, Monter, Gredelj and Ericsson Nikola Tesla.
