The Croatian government on Thursday endorsed an agreement on a EUR 150 million loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) for the development and recovery of Croatia.
Finance Minister Boris Lalovac said that the conclusion of the loan agreement with the World Bank's institution was a confirmation that structural reforms were being carried out.
The loan is designated for the reform programme and covers the strengthening of the fiscal sustainability and consolidation of expenditures alongside creating an encouraging environment for the private sector.
The loan has been approved for a period of 15 years, and the interest rate would be the six-month Euribor, increased by a small fixed fee.
