PM Milanovic visits renovated pier for tourist ships in Sibenik

Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic on Tuesday visited an upgraded pier in Sibenik which will serve as a landing place for ships bringing tourists to that Croatian Adriatic city.

The work on the Vrulje pier, worth EUR 7.3 million, was financed by the government and Prime Minister Milanovic said that this was an important investment for Sibenik and Dalmatia.

He boasted of other government-funded investments along the Adriatic coast and projects facilitated by the government such as a 200-million-euro project to upgrade Dubrovnik Airport and the construction of a bridge connecting the island of Ciovo and the coastal town of Trogir.
