Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic and European Council President Donald Tusk met in Zagreb on Thursday to discuss the refugee crisis and ways of solving it at the EU level, the government press service said.
Also discussed was the security situation in Europe and challenges faced by the EU following the recent terrorist attacks and threats to peace and stability in Europe.
Tusk arrived in Zagreb to attend a Brdo-Brijuni Process summit on Wednesday. The purpose of the meeting is to ensure further stabilisation of Southeast Europe and provide support to the reform processes in the countries aspiring for Euro-Atlantic integration.
