PM Plenkovic and Zeman confirm good bilateral relations

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic confirmed the good relations between Croatia and the Czech Republic during a meeting with Czech President Milos Zeman in Zagreb on Tuesday, and both officials expressed a desire for their further improvement, a government press release said.

Plenkovic and Zeman also talked about ways of boosting economic cooperation, especially in energy, transport, telecommunications and tourism.

Plenkovic expressed satisfaction about a large number of Czech tourists visiting Croatia, adding that he was confident that this would continue this season too.

Zeman expressed satisfaction about the good status of the Czech minority in Croatia, which was also confirmed by the representative of the Czech and Slovak minorities in the Croatian Parliament, Vladimir Bilek, who attended the meeting.
