PM Plenkovic sure Slavonia can be competitive with new qualities

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, who was on a visit to eastern Croatia on Saturday, also toured the privately-owned Zito company, one of major food producers in that part of Croatia that employs 1,500 workers and exports its products abroad.

After touring the factories within the Zito company, based in Cepin outside Osijek, and talking with the management and the owner Marko Pipunic, PM Plenkovic said that investments such were those made in this company showed that Slavonia could be competitive with final products and new qualities.

The "Zito" company was founded in 1992.
