"The law on emergency administration is a legal rule that regulates the rights and responsibilities of the Croatian Government and institutions. There is no contract that can derogate the government's rights under such a contract," PM Plenkovic said at the start of his cabinet's meeting in Zagreb.
In connection with media reports about the developments in Agrokor, Plenkovic said that the emergency administration had held talks with over 30 creditors and that the conclusion reached was that the contract mentioned in media reports on Thursday was the fairest and the most favourable.
Plenkovic said the emergency administrator in the faltering Agrokor food and retail group, Ante Ramljak, would give his opinion on the developments later in the day.
