Plenkovic said that the two countries should resolve the border dispute to their mutual satisfaction and in the spirit of good neighbourliness as befits two friendly countries, allies within NATO and members of the European Union.
Plenkovic wished Sarec all the best in his work and stressed the importance of cooperation for the benefit of the two countries. He invited his Slovenian counterpart to visit Croatia, a government press release said.
The Slovenian parliament confirmed the new coalition government at an extraordinary session on Thursday. It will operate as a minority government with the backing of the far left.
