CONTINUED STRONG SUPPORT FOR UKRAINE
The Coalition of the Willing is not a path to war, but a cooperation of countries that are for peace in Europe
At the meeting of the Coalition of the Willing in Paris, further strong support for Ukraine was expressed, both political, military and financial, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković said in a statement to the media.

As for the Croatian position, he added, we once again reiterated the strong and principled political, financial, military and humanitarian support of the Croatian Government to Ukraine, as well as the special knowledge and experience that Croatia has from the time of the Homeland War, such as expertise in processing war crimes, demining and caring for war veterans.
We also advocated for further dynamics in the negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the European Union, said the Prime Minister, emphasizing that this was particularly important now that Hungary's position is significantly more flexible than it was before.
He assessed the meeting as very useful and informative, emphasizing that it was good that Croatia also participated in it.
The Coalition of the Willing is a defense mechanism
Asked about his view of the announced anti-ballistic group within the Coalition, the Prime Minister explained that the entire Coalition of the Willing, as well as security guarantees in general, is conceived as a defense mechanism that would only come into effect once a ceasefire is agreed and a peace agreement is reached.
"So, it is not an offensive operation or involving all these countries in war," he asserted.
The two issues that pose a problem for Ukraine are, first, that they do not have an answer to the possible use of nuclear weapons, and the second is the long-range ballistic systems that Russia possesses and uses, he explained.
That is why they need anti-ballistic defense and that is why those countries that have these capabilities in their armed forces are part of the inner team that will support this, he added.
He also referred to the strengthening of drone capabilities, explaining that this is a group within the European Union. Croatia, thanks to the incredible business success of one of its companies, has found a niche in this area.
