The Special Expert Commission (PSP) for the implementation of the Education, Science and Technology Strategy appointed at a conference call on Tuesday 12 members of the Expert Task Force (ERS) for the implementation of the curricular reform and cancelled an earlier invitation for applications for the ERS head, with Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic appointing Radovan Fuchs as special government advisor on the coordination of the ERS' work.

The conference call was presided over by PM Plenkovic, who also chairs the PSP, with two items on the agenda - the appointment of the 12-member ERS and the cancellation of the public invitation for applications for the position of the ERS head.

The government appointed the 12 members of the ERS and discussed applications for the position of the ERS head, agreeing eventually to cancel the public invitation for applications for that position.

Plenkovic said that the invitation for applications for the position of the ERS head had to be cancelled due to a lack of consensus on the choice of the person to head that body.

He also appointed former science minister Radovan Fuchs as special government advisor to coordinate the ERS' work and harmonise it with those of the PSP and the Science and Education Ministry.
