Croatian deputy PM attends SEECP meeting in Sofia

Croatian Government Deputy Prime Minister Djurdja Adlesic, who is taking part in the South East European Cooperation (SEECP) Disaster Prevention and Preparedness Ministerial Meeting, held in Sofia on Wednesday, advocated the establishment of a fire-fighting centre for Southeast Europe in Divulje.

According to a statement issued by the Croatian government's public relations office, Adlesic said at the meeting chaired by the Bulgarian government that the activities of fire-fighting forces in the countries of the region needed to be harmonised.

On the margins of the conference, Adlesic held talks with delations of Albania and Romania who supported her initiative, the statement said.
