Croatian PM extends condolences to UK PM following latest terrorism attack

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic on Sunday extended his condolences to UK Prime Minister Theresa May, in the wake of the latest terrorism attack in London.

Earlier, Scotland Yard revealed the death toll from the terrorist attack in London Bridge has risen to seven and almost 50 were injured.

The attack in the British capital attack took place on Saturday when a van smashed into pedestrians on London Bridge before three assailants went on a stabbing spree.

"Brutal and inhumane crimes against innocent and random victims are becoming serious threats to the society and it becomes more clear that we can win with the help of a united determination. We sympathise with your people and the families of those killed and we wish a speedy and full recovery to those injured," Plenkovic said in his letter to May.

Three suspected attackers have also been shot dead by police.
