Croatian PM receives outgoing apostolic nuncio
ZAGREB, Jan 24 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader on Thursday received the outgoing apostolic nuncio to Croatia Francisco Javier Lozano who will be the next apostolic nuncio in Romania and Bulgaria.
PM Sanader thanked Lozano on everything he had done during his service in Croatia to maintain exceptionally good relations between the Holy See and Croatia.
Sanader also asked Lozano to convey Pope Benedict XVI his gratitude on everything the Holy See had done for Croatia since the country gained independence in 1990. He also once again invited the pontiff to visit Croatia.
Lozano said that he would always remember his days of service in Croatia, thanking the PM and the Croatian government on assistance and cooperation.
