Deputy Prime Minister Petrov meets U.S. envoy for Holocaust issues

Deputy Prime Minister Bozo Petrov in Zagreb on Monday held talks with with Nicholas Dean, US Department of State Special Envoy for Holocaust Issues, and a delegation of the the World Jewish Restitution Organization (WJRO).

The talks focused on the Holocaust, divisions which are being repeated in present-day societies following old patterns and the obligation to do everything possible to prevent such evil from ever happening again.

One of the topics of the talks was the restitution of property to Jewish WWII victims in Croatia. The participants in the meeting agreed that themed meetings would be held in the future to offer proposal for the solving of this problem.
