Excellent bilateral and economic relations between Croatia and Baden-Württemberg

Prime Minister Andrej Plenković emphasized the high level of political dialogue between Croatia and Baden-Württemberg, the great economic exchange between the two countries and the excellent tourism cooperation.

Prime Minister Andrej Plenković visited the German federal state of Baden-Württemberg today. Upon his arrival in Stuttgart, he met with the Prime Minister of that federal province, Winfried Kretschmann.
 
In a statement to the media, Prime Minister Plenković said that at the meeting they discussed bilateral relations and expressed satisfaction with the high level of political dialogue, as well as the cooperation between the Croatian and Baden-Württemberg commissions. He also mentioned the great economic exchange between the two countries, and excellent tourism cooperation.
 
The Prime Minister also reminded that 130 thousand Croats or people of Croatian origin live in Baden-Württemberg, stressing that they represent a strong link between the two countries.
 
Improvement of energy cooperation
 
The two prime ministers expressed their desire to improve economic cooperation, especially in the field of energy, whereby Plenković singled out investments from Baden-Württemberg in Croatia in connection with renewable energy sources, especially solar and wind energy.
 
"Croatia's investments in LNG on Krk and in gas pipelines, which will also be ready for the transport of hydrogen, give us room to market a part of that gas to Slovenia, Austria, Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg," Plenković said.
 
He also said that he was looking forward to further cooperation with Prime Minister Kretschmann and invited him to visit Croatia.
 
Great promotion of Croatia in Europa Park
 
During his stay in Baden-Württemberg, Prime Minister Plenković also visited the Croatian theme park in Europa-park in Rust, where the Croatian summer festival started tonight.
 
He expressed satisfaction that a special section about Croatia was included in this 49-year-old theme park.
 
He said that this will show the country in a beautiful light, from the monumental heritage to the innovations of modern Croatia, which will and contribute to our tourism.
 
"This is a great proof of excellent economic cooperation between Croatia and Germany and Croatia and Baden-Württemberg, as well as the contribution of the numerous Croatian community living in Germany," said Plenković, thanking everyone for the great organization of the Croatian summer festival and the successful presentation of our country.
