Government adopts several regulations and reports in closed part of session

ZAGREB, Jan 28 (Hina) - The Croatian government adopted several regulations and reports in the closed part of its session on Thursday, according to a government press release.

The government adopted a report on compliance with obligations under Chapter 1 of the acquis communautaire, Free Movement of Goods, as part of negotiations on the accession of Croatia to the European union.

Also adopted was a decision on the participation of Croatian troops in international military exercises under NATO's Partnership for Peace programme.

Croatian troops will participate in the military exercise NOREX 2010 in Norway and the United States in February, in ADRION 2010 CAX in Montenegro in March, and in Brilliant Mariner 2010 in Denmark in April.

The government adopted a regulation on the publication of a treaty on mutual assistance in customs matters with the Russian Federation, which was signed in Moscow on February 18, 2009.

Also adopted was a regulation on the publication of an annex to the Financing Agreement with the European Commission regarding the National Programme for Croatia under the IPA Transition Assistance and Institution Building Component for 2007.

The government initiated a procedure for the conclusion of a treaty on the mutual protection of classified information with Spain.

It also adopted a report on work on establishing a regional centre for psychosocial rehabilitation.
