Maja Cavlovic appointed head of National Security Council Office

Maja Cavlovic has been appointed head of the Office of the National Security Council, the government and the Office of the President stated on Tuesday.

The decision, made by President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic and Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, took effect on September 1.

Cavlovic was appointed for a four-year term, renewable once. She previously served as presidential defence and national security adviser.
