Minister says expects relaxation of relations between creditors and debtors

Justice Minister Drazen Bosnjakovic has said he expected the agreement that has recently been signed by the Blokirani association of citizens with blocked bank accounts and the HUAN association of claims recovery agencies, to result in the relaxation of relations between creditors and debtors, regardless of the new Destraint Bill that was criticised by both -- Blokirani and HUAN.

"The bill receive two parliamentary readings, and there is still time to resolve problematic issues," Bosnjakovic told reporters outside Government House on Friday when asked to comment on criticism from Blokirani and HUAN.

"I expect the agreement to have a good effect on creditor-debtor relations, to help many creditors and debtors reach a settlement which can be done even without the said law..." the minister said.
