Plenković with Kövesi on cooperation with the EPPO

Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković held a meeting with European Chief Prosecutor Laura Codruţa Kövesi.

European Prosecutor Tamara Laptoš, as well as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Davor Božinović, Minister of Justice, Administration and Digital Transformation Damir Habijan and State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance Tereza Rogić Lugarić participated in the meeting.
 
The Prime Minister and the European Chief Prosecutor discussed the cooperation of the European Public Prosecutor's Office with Croatian institutions and the organizational aspects of the Office's work.   
 
It was emphasized that Croatia was among the 17 countries that initially supported the establishment of the EPPO, and that it continues to provide unequivocal support to the work of the Office.
 
Support for the EPPO activities stems from the Government's clear commitment to fighting corruption and organized crime both at the national and European level.
