PM Plenkovic extends condolences to Canadian PM

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic on Saturday extended condolences to his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau following a road accident in Canada in which 14 people were killed.

It is with great sadness that I have received the news of the tragic road accident in which so many young lives were lost, Plenkovic said in his message, asking Trudeau to convey his sympathies to the families of those killed and wishing a speedy recovery to those injured.

Fourteen people were killed and another 14 injured, including three seriously, in a collision between a bus and a truck on a highway in Saskatchewan province. The bus was carrying the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team to a tournament.
