Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, who on Saturday stopped in Tuzla during his day-long tour of central and northeastern Bosnia and Herzegovina, said that Croatia would continue supporting the survival of the Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

To this cause, we also set aside concrete material assistance from the Croatian budget, Plenkovic said in his address to the press after he visited the construction site of the future building housing the Croatian Cultural Centre "Saint Francis" co-funded by Zagreb.

In Tuzla, there are some 24,000 Croats and such projects are vital for them, the Croatian PM added.

Bosnia and Herzegovina's tripartite presidency's chair and HDZ BiH leader, Dragan Covic, who accompanied Plenkovic during today's tour of this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, thanked the Croatian PM and called on him not to be disturbed by some discouraging messages and statements in pursing his current policy for the cause of the Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On Saturday morning, Plenkovic visited the town of Zepce, and the last stop of this tour will be Orasje, a town on the right bank of the Sava River, where he will attend the ceremony of opening the Croatian Film Festival.
