PM Sanader receives head of Croatian Catholic Bishops' Conference
ZAGREB, March 16 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader on Monday received the President of the Croatian Catholic Bishops' Conference (HBK), Djakovo Archbishop Marin Srakic and HBK Secretary-General Vjekoslav Huzjak.
Sanader informed the dignitary about measures the government is taking to overcome the current economic situation in the country and about Croatia's Euro-Atlantic integration processes.
Archbishop Marin Srakic voiced the Church's support to the Sanader cabinet's efforts to achieve the main goals of the country's Euro-Atlantic integration processes and to come out of the present economic situation successfully.
They agreed that the relations between the State and the Church were good and that meetings of this kind contributed to better mutual understanding.
