Prime Minister congratulates Cameron

ZAGREB, May 12 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor on Wednesday congratulated David Cameron on his appointment as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

PM Kosor said in a note she was extremely pleased with the excellent relations between Croatia and Great Britain, voicing confidence that their cooperation within NATO and joint efforts to bring stability and prosperity to Afghanistan, as well as elsewhere, would remain excellent once Croatia joined the European Union.

PM Kosor said she would personally invest efforts to bring Southeast Europe closer to the EU and NATO, and that she was looking forward to cooperating with Cameron and his government on such an important European issue.

Prime Minister Kosor invited Cameron to visit Croatia, hopefully this year.
