Prime Minister Kosor receives US ambassador for war crimes issues

ZAGREB, Nov 27 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor held a meeting with the United States Ambassador-at-Large for War Crimes Issues, Stephen J. Rapp.

Prime Minister Kosor thanked the United States for the support to Croatia on its road towards the European Union.

She said that her government was doing its utmost to successfully complete the country's European integration.

Kosor reiterated that Croatia was committed to the full and absolute cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), in accordance with the pertinent constitutional law, and added that all the relevant Croatian institutions had carried out and were carrying out comprehensive administrative investigations following requests from the UN tribunal.

Ambassador Rapp thanked the Croatian Prime Minister on the successful unblocking of Croatia's EU accession negotiations, and expressed confidence in the success of Croatia's journey towards the European bloc,
