Prime Minister Kosor thanks for support

ZAGREB, July 12 (Hina) - Croatian new Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor has expressed gratitude on her and her cabinet's behalf for the congratulations and the support, saying the government has the strength and the knowledge to resolve problems, the government said in a press release on Sunday.

Kosor said she was honoured and pleased to take over and lead the Croatian government, adding it was a big obligation based on the support expressed at the last parliamentary elections and that she would continue to serve her people.

"There are many challenges ahead, but we are ready to face them. We have the strength and the knowledge to resolve the problems we encounter," the press release quoted her as saying.
