Prime Minister meets Israeli foreign minister
ZAGREB, Sept 15 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor met Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman in Zagreb on Tuesday.
Kosor said that the well-developed cultural and political relations between the two countries provided a good foundation for the promotion of good economic ties. She recalled that over 100 Croats had been awarded the Israeli "Righteous among the Nations" medal.
Lieberman said that Israel was very interested in deepening economic cooperation, as well as cooperation in all other areas, with Croatia because of its important role in Central and Southeast Europe.
Kosor informed her guest about Croatia's European Union membership bid, and Lieberman expressed confidence that Croatia would complete the accession process soon.
