Prime Minister meets Russian minister

ZAGREB, Oct 21 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor in Zagreb on Wednesday held talks with Russian Emergency Situations Minister Sergey Shoygu, who said that Kosor's coming visit to Moscow would encourage the development of bilateral relations.

Shoygu, co-chairman of the Croatian-Russian government commission for cooperation in trade, economy, science and technology, conveyed greetings to Kosor from her Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

Kosor said her meeting with Putin would help strengthen the economic cooperation between Croatia and Russia.

She also commented on the unblocking of Croatia's EU entry negotiations and reiterated that Croatia strongly supported all Southeast European countries on their path to Euro-Atlantic associations and actively contributed to the strengthening of the stability in the region.
