Prime Minister receives Kwasniewski

ZAGREB, June 7 (Hina) - Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor received former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski during his visit to Zagreb on Monday.

During talks with Prime Minister Kosor, Kwasniewski supported Croatia on its road to the EU and Kosor in her efforts to make Croatia the EU's 28th member.

The two officials were agreed that Croatian-Polish cooperation was excellent and that relations were friendly.

PM Kosor thanked Poland for its support to Croatia since it gained independence and notably now when it is in the final stage of EU entry negotiations.

Kosor and Kwasniewski said they wanted Croatian-Polish economic cooperation to intensify and spoke of the upcoming tourist season.

Kwasniewski presented the work of the Friends of Europe foundation and Kosor accepted an invitation to attend its conference in Dubrovnik in October.
