Prime Minister Andrej Plenković is participating in the First Summit on Peace in Ukraine in Bürgenstock, Switzerland. Upon arrival, he made a statement to the media.

Asked about expectations, Prime Minister Plenković said that there are about 100 delegations from all over the world at this conference, and it is about a message of political support for the peace process, but also the desire of the international community to stop the conflict and send messages of peace.

"That peace should be just, and a just peace means the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukrainian territory and the return of temporarily occupied territories to the constitutional and legal order of Ukraine. We are here to support ideas for peace plans and offer our experiences. Croatia is one of the countries that has the most experience in situations like this," said Prime Minister Plenković.

Croatia immediately helped Ukraine

Regarding tomorrow's panel, in which Prime Minister Plenković will also participate, he reminded that Croatia helped Ukraine right from the beginning - in accepting the wounded and helping in demining.

"Croatia also organized a conference on demining. We tried to convey experiences in the treatment of those who experienced trauma. Croatia helps as much as possible. Of course, it helps diplomatically, politically, economically, technically and militarily," Plenković added.
