Croatian-American Golf Foundation donates USD 50,000 for mine clearance in Croatia

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Family Affairs, War Veterans and Intergenerational Solidarity, Jadranka Kosor, on Wednesday received the Croatian Consul-General to New York, Petar Ljubicic, who presented her with a USD 50,000 cheque for mine clearance operations in Croatia, the government said in a statement.

The donation from the New York-based Croatian-American Golf Foundation was presented at a meeting which was also attended by the director of the Croatian Mine Action Centre, Oto Jungwirth, and the head of the "Hrvatska bez mina (Croatia Without Mines)" Foundation, Zeljko Kresic.
