Deputy PM Kosor signs contracts on co-financing of shelters for women victims of violence

ZAGREB, Nov 25 (Hina) - Deputy Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor on Tuesday signed contracts on the co-financing of shelters and counseling centres for women victims of violence with representatives of counties, cities and civil organisations in charge of the shelters.

Kosor, who is also the minister of family affairs, signed the contracts on behalf of her ministry on the occasion of the International Day Against Violence Against Women, which is observed on November 25.

The ministry will set aside more than HRK 1.64 million for the shelters and counseling centres in 2009, said Kosor.
