PM Sanader receives newly-appointed German ambassador

Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader on Monday received the newly-appointed German Ambassador to Croatia, Bernd Fischer.

Their talks focused on Croatia's EU accession negotiations, with Sanader saying that Croatia continued to implement the necessary reforms despite the current blockade of negotiations by Slovenia.

Sanader thanked Germany for its support to Croatia on the path to EU membership.

Fischer said Germany was eager to further strengthen economic, political and cultural ties between the two countries. (HINA)
