ZAGREB, Nov 2 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor held talks with the European Parliament's rapporteur on Croatia, Hannes Swoboda, in Zagreb on Monday.
Prime Minister Kosor congratulated Swoboda on his reappointment as rapporteur and thanked him for his support to Croatia on its path to European Union membership.
She expressed satisfaction with the unblocking of Croatia's EU entry talks, and informed Swoboda of the agreement she had reached with her Slovenian counterpart Borut Pahor.
Swoboda fully supported Kosor's efforts to bring Croatia closer to the European Union.He also congratulated her on reaching the agreement with Slovenian PM Pahor, expressing hope Croatia would soon become a full member of the EU.
Swoboda stressed Croatia's progress in accession negotiations was an important factor in reform implementation in other countries of the region.
The talks also focused on today's parliamentary debate on the arbitration agreement with Slovenia.
