ZAGREB, Dec 3 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor on Thursday received Lech Walesa, former Polish president and legendary leader of the Solidarity trade union.
Prime Minister Kosor said Walesa's career as a politician and human rights activist inspired many in Croatia. She underlined his key contribution to the fall of the totalitarian regime and the promotion of freedom and democracy in Central and Eastern Europe.
Kosor also thanked Poland and its people for their support to Croatia on its path to Euro-Atlantic integration.The talks focused on the challenges of the current economic situation and on opportunities the European integration process brings.
