The Croatian national statistical office (DZS) is expected to publish preliminary data on industrial production in October, and macroeconomic analysts have forecast its growth for the nine consecutive months, however, October is to see a deceleration in the rise, compared to September.
Thus, Croatia's industrial output is projected by the analysts to rise 3.5% this October compared to October 2014, while in September this rate stood at 5.4%, the highest one since April 2008.
If this positive trend continues by the end of this year, 2015 will be the second straight year with a positive growth in industrial production.
Croatia's industrial output rose 1.3% throughout 2014 compared to 2013, thus rebounding for the first time after a five-year decline.
