Plenkovic reiterated that Croatia stuck by its decision that the ruling was in no way binding and that it would not apply it, the government said in a press release, while Cerar reiterated Slovenia's position that the ruling must be honoured.
They agreed that no unilateral steps will be taken and that they will resume talks in Ljubljana on July 12 ahead of a Berlin Process meeting in Trieste, Italy.
The Berlin Process was launched in 2014 to promote regional cooperation, dealing with outstanding issues and further stabilising Europe's southeast.
