Eleven years of membership in the European Union changed Croatia for the better

Prime Minister Plenković emphasized that 11 years of membership have greatly changed Croatia for the better. He also recalled the strategic achievements - the entry of our country into the Schengen Area, the Eurozone and the European Stabilization Mechanism. With membership in Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), which is expected in 2026, Croatia would complete all important international ambitions.

On the occasion of marking the 11th anniversary of Croatia's membership in the European Union, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković hosted a formal reception in Banski dvori.
 
Welcoming the guests, Prime Minister Plenković emphasized that 11 years of membership had greatly changed Croatia for the better in terms of the quality of life of Croatian citizens, the strengthening of the Croatian economy, the strengthening of Croatian institutions, the raising of standards, the growth of salaries and pensions, and the growth gross social product.
