Prime Minister Andrej Plenković is attending a working dinner of EU leaders on the topic of consultations on the EU's 2024-29 Strategic Agenda. The topics under discussion include boosting the European economy, social topics, boosting security, including border security, and the EU's defense capabilities.

The topic of enlargement is always on the agenda. The biggest promoter of enlargement is Putin. Without Russia's aggression on Ukraine, Ukraine would not have obtained candidate status and a decision on the opening of negotiations, just like Moldova, and Georgia were given candidate status, Plenković told the press in Bucharest.

He is attending a working dinner of EU leaders on the topic of consultations on the EU's 2024-29 Strategic Agenda. The dinner is being hosted by Romanian President Klaus Iohannis. The topics under discussion include boosting the European economy, social topics, boosting security, including border security, and the EU's defence capabilities, Plenković said.
